If your old cleats are popping out and giving you hassles it’s time to replace them! All cleats wear over time, slowly changing shape, until they start clipping out unintentionally and sometimes even refusing to go in.
The new Crankbrothers cleats have a few improvements over the older version. The biggest improvement is the addition of elongated holes in the washer for the screws. These new holes allow the cleats to be shifted left and right so you can move your foot in closer to the crank, or further. They also come in 6g’s lighter than the old version.
Besides the new modifications everything else stays the same. There’s 6 degrees of float, the cleats can be fitted to allow a 15 or 20 degree release angle and are still made of durable brass.
The cleats are compatible with all Crankbrothers Eggbeater, Candy and Mallet Pedals.
