CLEATS


Cleats are the little pieces of plastic or metal, attached to the bottom of your shoes, that enable you to attach your feet to your pedals. Some cleats even allow a slight twisting movement without uncleating. It is very important to get your cleats setup correctly to ensure comfort as well as performance. Worn cleats can cause you to come out of your pedals accidently while pedalling hard and can therefore be very dangerous. Always replace worn cleats!
