Utilizing Shimano’s steel compound, this brake pad is ideal for anyone looking for a more durable brake pad and longer pad life. The standard compound also lasts longer in mud, something to consider if you are riding races like the Sabie Experience! The new XTR compound also lasts an extra 50% longer than the precious version, drastically adding to an already impressive wear life. The new titanium back plate also helps with temperature control and shaves 12g’s of the weight.
Each set includes two brake pads, which replace the brake pads in ONE brake caliper. They are identical for both front and rear, and you would need two sets to replace all the brake pads on one bike.
Although brake pads will always need replacing at some point and are always handy to have around, these are a must have for anyone doing a multistage race!
This pad is compatible with XTR M965, M966, Saint M800, XT M765, Hone M60, SLX M665, LX M585, Deore M53520 brakes.
