Looking for the ultimate in braking performance? The resin XTR brake pads deliver! Although you do sacrifice a bit of durability, nothing can beat the resin pad when it comes to braking performance, modulation and noise. The resin also keeps temperatures down to prevent heat induced brake fade and reduce possible warping of your rotor if it is suddenly cooled, e.g. riding through a water crossing. The new XTR compound also lasts an extra 50% longer than the precious version, reducing the only disadvantage to Shimano’s best performing brake pad. The new titanium back plate also helps with temperature control and shaves 12g’s of the weight.
Each set includes two brake pads, which replace the brake pads in ONE brake caliper. They are identical for both front and rear, and you would need two sets to replace all the brake pads on one bike.
Although brake pads will always need replacing at some point and are always handy to have around, these are a must have for anyone doing a multistage race! Especially if you opt for the resin pads!
This pad is compatible with XTR M965, M966, Saint M800, XT M765, Hone M60, SLX M665, LX M585, Deore M53520 brakes.
