While a traditional A-frame trainer is great for riding indoors at different resistances, only rollers let you ride indoors and still use your stabilizer muscles. Rollers let you move the bike naturally under you, using stabilizer muscles involved with balance and support. Rollers are also more stimulating mentally as you will need to be focused all the time.
A great way to improve your coordination and balance, the unique roller design of the Tacx Antares helps prevent you from riding off the rollers. Each roller slightly hourglass shaped, helping keep your wheel in the middle.
