The CeramicSpeed PF4630 Coated Mountain Bike Bottom Bracket is perfect for when you have a PF30, BBright, or 386EVO shell frame and want to install a BB30 crankset into the frame. All have a 46mm inner diameter and smooth insides, though the widths vary from 68mm to 86mm. The crank itself has a 30mm diameter spindle. Hand-built on Denmark for quality reassurance and the utilisation of the best technologies available, allow the PF4630 bracket to feature nearly zero loss of power due to friction thanks to the bearings. The thru-axle demonstrate high stiffness for its low weight and the bottom bracket offers an exciting freedom for the designer in building the frame. The hardened-steel races and ceramic balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. These feature a frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which represents an average 75% drag reduction compared to most bottom brackets. The bracket has a metallic coating 3 microns thick laid onto the races, making it smoother and harder than any other bearing on the market. The result? A bracket with remarkable low drag and exceptional life span.
