Featuring CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings that are installed into cups, the bearings have super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed balls contained in hardened-steel races. The CeramicSpeed Pf30 SRAM GXP Mountain Bike Bottom Bracket standard shares a shell diameter, 46mm, with the road version, but has a wider shell, 73mm. It was specifically designed for frame designers to have more flexibility. This bracket helps you to mate your Quarq and SRAM cranks with a PF30 Mountain Bike frame. The SRAM GXP bracket can last three times longer than other bearings thanks to the hardened-steel races and ceramic balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. These feature a frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which represents an average 75% drag reduction compared to most bb's.
