At Cycle Lab, we have a wide range of bicycle pumps in many different styles, shapes and sizes. There are three major styes of bicycle pumps available. Cycle Lab stocks frame pumps, floor pumps and electronic pumps. Many of these pumps have a built-in adapter that allows you to use it on both Presta and Schrader valves. From the weekend warriors to the raxing snakes, maintaining your tyre pressure before each ride is essential. This will improve your control by increasing traction, efficiency by reducing the rolling resistance and comfort by helping with absorbing vibrations and bumps.

Frame pumps are a type of compact bicycle pump that comes with a mount that can be placed under your bottle cages or on panier mounts. This lightweight bicycle pump is designed to fit most bicycle frames and can be stored on your bike so that it is always there when you need it. Or it can also be stored in your back pocket, hydration pack or in saddle bag. Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Every cyclist needs at least one floor pump at home. This type of bicycle pump has a larger air chamber compared to the frame mounted bicycle pump and this makes it a lot quicker and easier to pump your tyres before each ride you do. This type of bicycle pump comes in a couple different styles. There are pumps that are made of plastic and some that are made of aluminium. You can get them with analogue or digital pressure gauges to get accurate readings every time. There is even a type of bicycle pump that has a secondary air chamber that you can pump air into and use as if it is a compressor which is perfect for the riders who like doing their own tubeless conversions.

The last major type of bicycle pump that Cycle Lab stocks is going to be your electronic pumps. This type of bicycle pump does need to be recharged but it is the easiest to use out of all the bicycle pumps. This little pump usually has enough power to pump your tyres three or four times before it need’s to be recharged. It’s simple to use. All you would need to do is set your desired tyre pressure on the pump, place the pump on your valve, turn the pump on and wait a couple seconds for your tyre to inflate to the selected pressure. It’s as simple as that.
