The Fizik Unisex Black/ Black Tempo Overcurve R4 Road Shoe is a versatile shoe, which combines many technical performance aspects with a comfortable fit.
The R4 is constructed using a polyurethane material, laid over a mesh material, to create a design which supports the foot and aids in the power transfer between the rider and the pedals.
The Overcurve design creates an asymmetric shape, that will fit especially well to the bones of the ankle. The closures on this shoe, feature the BOA IP1 dial to ensure that the fit can be adjusted to fit the personal preference of the rider and then be refined further while the rider is in motion.
The R4 outsole is carbon fibre infused, to offer the best of both worlds when it comes to flexibility and power-transfer. The sole is also well-ventilated to aid the rider in managing their temperature. The cleat is also positioned further back, to ensure that the placement of the foot minimises knee compression and maximises the transfer of energy from the rider to the pedals.
